Welcome to Rock Solid Stables, owned and operated by Jay and Karen Raach. We are a fun, family oriented barn in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. My husband and I specialize in showing young horses on the line in hunter breeding divisions. We also have a large amount of students ranging from children, ages 4 1/2, right on up through adults, as beginners, intermediate and advanced riders. We also focus a lot of attention on breaking and training young horses to prep them to be future stars in the show ring! Congratulations to all of our year end CCHSA champions!
Hayley Raach and Liza Jones - Hayley was Champion and Liza was 6th over all in Shortest Stirrup! Way to go girls....
Lauren Michalak - 4th in Beginner Rider year end! Way to go doing that on a 4 year old!!
Maddy and J. P. Were Champion at Duncraven out of a huge field!

Purple Haze AKA "Jimmy" is a 5 year old welsh gelding who stands 13.1. To sum it up he's a good hearted guy. We got him over the summer and showed him almost every weekend in CCHSA shows in Short stirrup and Beginner Rider. Many champion and Reserve ribbons! We also just took him to his first jumper show December 10th and he was champion! He is a great jumper and very cute mover. Has great barn manners and the kids can do everything with him. Clips, baths, loads.....If we still have him we are going to start showing him in the med pony dev. this spring. $10,000
